Our Story

About Us

The Swaminarayan Complex is a large Cultural Event Center in South Auckland which is fast becoming manifestations of the shared vision of the Kiwi Indian community.

The Swaminarayan Complex Cultural & Event Center, provides performance and exhibition venues for hire for various local communities for events of different magnitudes. It allows for greater cross-cultural understanding, and enhances areas of mutual interest such as education, languages, arts and culture.

Yesterday’s event (by OHM) meal was an absolute delight—perfectly crispy dosa with chutney and sambar, flavorful chole with soft, fluffy bhatura, and a fragrant rice dish cooked in gingelly oil. And to top it off, the gulab jamun was simply divine! While the Indo-Chinese dishes weren’t my favorite, everything else more than made up for it. The refreshing lemon drink was the perfect finishing touch. Beyond the incredible food, the service is always warm and welcoming, with friendly faces making the experience even more special. Yesterday, I had the privilege of personally thanking the wonderful team who cooked and served our meal, and it was truly a pleasure. Highly recommend!
